Caught In The Bag

I woke up in the morning told my momma I was cold.

Then I went down to Ben Franklinís where my hobby was sold.

I sniffed and I sniffed and didnít get tired.

But oh my, myÖ my head was tired.

Because Iím caught in the bag

And itís all over now.

I got higher and higher but not high enough.

I saw no stop signs while doing that stuff.

So I squeezed another tube in that brown paper sack.

Now Iíve gone too far and I canít get back.

Because Iím caught in the bag

And itís all over now.

Iím chilled in the morning and the night is the same.

Almost all of the time thereís a haze in my brain.

Twinkle, twinkle little orange tube Ė if only I could stop it.

But every minute of the day thereís a sack in my pocket.

Because Iím caught in the bag

And itís all over now.
